Fred and George freezing and looking at Harry with nothing but absolute delight at the potential mischief.

Harry making eye contact with them, immediately understanding their intentions, and winking as he puts a finger to his lips, shushing them.

Ron following Harry’s line of sight and screaming “NO. NO. FUCK NO. ABSOLUTELY NOT.”

Harry and the twins platonically flirting in the most obnoxious ways imaginable.

Harry showing up to breakfast in the Great Hall late with a different twins sweater on, looking debauched. One or even both the twins give him a salacious once over. Ron wants to sink into the floor and die.

Ron eventually gets used to this but absolutely loses it when the rest of his brothers send him their sweaters and flirt with him at the Burrow.

The Weasley boys sending flirty howlers to Harry just to send Ron spiraling.

Ron being so relieved when Harry dates literally anyone who isn’t one of his older brothers.

Rewatching Wenclair- I mean Wednesday, it’s so fucking impossible to deny that there isn’t SO MUCH chemistry and tension between Wednesday and Enid.

Like I genuinely don’t get how people can be like “wenclair shippers need to calm down” when these two were practically confessing their love for each other in every damn scene they talked to each other in. That’s not even mentioning the constant visual imagery, literally shots chosen specifically to show off their relationship to each other, and the fact that their individual character arcs literally mirror each other. Even down to the soundtracks, Enid is literally choreographed into being Wednesday’s foil.

And then there’s practically the whole damn cast shipping them together, like it’s so damn obvious, you’re being willfully obtuse and ignorant by trying to deny them. Wednesday certainly has more chemistry with her than she does with the whole love triangle bs. LITERALLY THE TWO LOVE INTERESTS AREN’T EVEN CLOSE TO HAVING THE LEVEL OF CHEMISTRY WITH WEDNESDAY THAT ENID HAS.

Like it boggles my mind, legitimately.

I think about this a lot.

How Enid puts SO MUCH effort into trying to befriend Wednesday (this scene, the snoods, attempting to shop with Wednesday for a dress) that's why their "breakup" scene hits so hard. Cause Enid HAS been trying and constantly gets shut down by Wednesday.

Enid always respects this decision of course but that doesn't mean it's not still tedious to have your (self-proclaimed) "best friend" not really make an attempt to hang out or get to know you.

That's why she's so happy when Wednesday invites her for a girls night out 🥲

So when Enid has had enough, she leaves. And Wednesday wasn't expecting this AT ALL. She just thought she'd always be there but Enid as a person is not a pushover. She knows her worth (she struggles with it but she knows at the end of the day she is worthy of good). So when she's disrespected and hurt by Wednesday's actions she'd rather get away from it than continue to let herself be hurt by her. (good on Enid for that btw 💪 know your self-worth)

Wednesday then has to sit with that realization and it genuinely hurts her. She has to deal with this loss and the consequences of her actions, and for once, "it doesn't feel good." (ep6) Which is why it's an amazing showcase that is detrimental to her character development.

To Enid's as well but moreso Wednesday for the fact, the show is about her 💀 but we do still get a really interesting moment of Enid's character development.

Enid did feel bad for what happened as she comes to understand their friendship isn't worth losing over this quarrel. Plus, she's tired of letting others defining her worth (again Enid knows she deserves better but she does struggle with it because of her mom)

So that moment where she confronts Wednesday to tell her she's no longer going to apologize for being herself is really great for her own growth :)

The "breakup" & reconciliation moment is just really pivotal in steering both girls in the right direction for their respective arcs and in intertwining the two together to really build on the foundation of their friendship…into a romance >:)) that's why we have the great makings of a slow burn hehe (and don't get me started on the hug scene 🤭)

It is a Gatling gun of random buzzwords and empty references to social issues, grotesquely and impotently disguised and screaming "I'm commentary!" before pissing its pants, squealing like a pig, and at its most coherent offering nothing more than to demonize mental illness and make any marginalized identity out to be a mayonnaise-stained Hot Topic hoodie through Wiseau-ian dialogue, inappropriate "grittiness" for its source material and Harry Potter setting, and incessant hackery. I am shitting. I am pissing. Lets talk about why Netflix is horrible and I hate them and they do nothing good and they are pathetic queerbaters who need to pray on the queer person's need and yearning for representation that is good but people are like, "no, they made heartstopper, so..."

It happened in Voltron, Wednesday, Outer Banks, Stranger Things, and the like. Just because one show that they make is queer positive and has good representation for not just queer themes but also mental heath themes does not overwrite the history of them continuously queer baiting their audience.

And I know they do it maliciously.

Recently, TikTok has said the creators of Voltron came out and made a statement about Klance [though all I could find was rumors and nothing concrete, so take this with a grain of salt]: "If we would have continued voltron, Keith and Lance would have ended up together." I personally doubt that. I really do. Because I belive Netflix, wouldn't let that happen.

Sonic Prime is another good example of this, it uses the want and need for Sonadow to be cannon again that they use that potential dynamic to get queer [and autistic] audiences to engage further with the media.

Outer Banks is also a really bad offender with this. Pope and JJ have more chemistry than ANYONE else in the show. Pope has kissed JJ neck, JJ has kissed Pope's face, Pope hugs JJ like he would disappear if he let go. JJ is more physically comfortable with Pope than he is with the woman he supposedly loves. HE has told Pope that he loves him more than three separate times. Once, JJ says "I love you both" to both Pope and John B, THEN HE EXPLICITLY SAYS "I love you Pope."

JJ took the fall and got arrested just to keep Pope out of trouble. "I can't let you take the fall for something I did." He didn't do it. It was Pope.

And he only does this, FOR POPE.

"I just want to make sure everyone here is prepared to go to federal prison."

"Yeah, for Pope, I am." [Paraphrasing]

Not for John B, his best friend since 3rd grade, or Kie, his literally ROMANTIC INTEREST. It is for Pope. JJ is always the first to defend Pope to EVERYONE, He stands up for Pope, he puts his life on the line for Pope. HE LOVES POPE.

I’m ngl, I’ve seen a couple people talking about this randomly and istg if they bring in some new random character JUST to be a new love interest for Wednesday instead of letting Enid be her love interest, I’m actually not watching Season 2.

Because that is SO MUCH more fucking insulting than simply just not giving Wednesday any love interest. At least then, we can celebrate an acearo queen. I’m not even kidding, Wednesday being acearo actually makes fucking sense and is in every single way preferable to her just going after another random boy that SHE LITERALLY JUST MET!

So if you’re going to just spit in the face of the overwhelming majority of the fandom by not making wenclair canon, then at least show some fucking mercy on us and don’t give Wednesday any love interests whatsoever. But I know even that is expecting far too much from Netflix and the idiotic writers that gave us a love triangle in the show about WEDNESDAY FUCKING ADDAMS

Is it obvious that I’m currently watching the show and am getting increasingly pissed off the grimy ass white boys shoving themselves all over Wednesday? Because I am. Also fuck P*rcy
